Myofunctional therapy focuses on improving breathing, tongue posture and oral muscle function to support healthy facial development and airway health.
Natalie Wong is a dental hygienist and myofunctional therapist based in Dubai, helping both children and adults address mouth breathing, sleep-disordered breathing and oral dysfunction. Through personalised therapy programmes, patients can improve breathing patterns, oral posture and overall wellbeing.

Why I Practice Differently

I’m Natalie Wong — a Scottish-trained Functional Dental Hygienist and Oral-Function Specialist based in Dubai.
My work focuses on the connection between breathing, muscle function, sleep and long-term oral health.
For many patients, oral health challenges are not just about plaque or brushing technique. They are connected to how we breathe, how the tongue rests, how the jaw develops and how well we sleep.
Motherhood deepened my understanding of how early habits shape growth, confidence and development. It reinforced what years of clinical experience had already shown me — oral function is foundational.
Today, I support children and adults through a preventative, root-cause approach to oral health — combining advanced hygiene care with airway-focused therapy, both in person and online.
Because true oral health supports the whole body — not just the smile.
